Squadra Ventures

Marketing Internship

From October 2022 to May 2023, I was a content and marketing manager for a local venture capital in Baltimore, MD: Squadra Ventures. Under Squadra, I was in charge of LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook posts. Promoting events, startups that were being invested in, and overall what Squadra Ventures does as company to help startups that were interested in long-term business. While I had learned a lot about a field I didn’t know much about, I also aided the team in their marketing and getting the Squadra Ventures name out there! Here are some examples of my work.

Digital Media Capstone

Graphic Design Team Member

Loyola seniors majoring in Communication and Media must complete a capstone project as their final step to achieving their degree. For my capstone, from September 2024 to December 2024, Loyola students collaborating with John Hopkins University launched a company and campaign for Pediatric Pacemakers aimed at raising awareness and giving information to children and families that need it. In this capstone, there is 3 departments of 3 students each: Web, Video, and Graphic Design Department. Within the entire project, as a class we created an interactive website completely from scratch, including researched infographics, informational videos, FAQ, and so much more! I conduction lots of research, and made branding, posters, and new logos for this company, “The Pediatric Pacemaker Project”

Individual Project

For my Individual Capstone Project, I wanted to give myself a project where I could do some more branding/designing. The Loyola University Dance Company, LUDC wanted new merchandise for their Fall Showcase. I thought it would be fun to give myself a company or “client” that has specific guidelines on what they want, so I can get practice branding and designing simple logos rather than the detailed and extravagant ones I am used to wanting to create. So, I was excited to be able to get more designing practice, but also get to have merch that my roommate and her friends get to wear all around campus!
